Lively Lovely Boston .....

My first blog EVER !!!! Sooo excited to finally start to share my thoughts and news with everyone ....
I first should probably introduce myself but to keep things interesting (or at least a original ahahaha) I'll tell a little more about me with every blog. So today, and as my blog name suggests I live in Massachussets, more precisely in the outskirts of Boston, and I'm VERY INTO Arts . I love every aspect of it. From TV to Cinema, from Music to Theater, from Painting to Literature .... you name it I love it.
Today I'm specially happy because I just bought my  tickets to watch La Roux and KT Turnstall live at the House of Blues in Boston in November.... (off the record the House of Blues in Boston and Lupo's in Providence is THE PLACE to be for the most important/awesome music acts in Massachussets) ... (on the record) both of them are incredible music artists that hail from the UK. However, their styles are very different....La Roux brought the synthesizer back to its full splendor with catchy tunes such as "In for the Kill" , "Bulletproof" and "I'm not your toy". Its actually a duo formed by Elly Jackson (the vocalist) and Ben Langmaid (the producer and beat mastermind behind it)... their influences vary so distinctively from Buddy Wally (Folk) to David Bowie (Rock/Punk) so its safe to say that they are heavy o that 80's feel.... Now KT Turnstall also follows along the line of Folk and Rock but different from La Roux, has a very modern touch... my favorite song is "The other side of the world" .... to me they are equaly amazing and I cant wait to go see them.... unfortunately they dont allow any cameras inside but I'll be posting my opinions and details online :) .... Now moving to the movie section, this week was the premiere of "The Town" the new movie written and  directed by Ben Affleck and shot between Massachussets and Connecticut .... and good Ben Affleck (who was born in California but relocated to Cambridge,MA at a very young age) remained loyal to his upbringing and adopted hometown and premired his movie at Fenway Park, or aka, one of the most important sites in Boston. The movie is receiving very positive reviews and I cannot wait for it to come out so I can finally see it.
Finally for books I suggest "Who Moved my cheese?" by Spencer Johnson. Don't be fooled to judge the title cause the life lesson in this parabole is very strong.... Its a very quick read (it took me two hours....) and the tought  that you'll most likely get after reading is : "which one of them is me ??? " ....
sooooooooooooooo im off the blogging for today considering that I have a pile of homework to finish ..... but I'll be back .... until then dont forget: "Life is ART".... :) <3
